Ada & Ed Harvey are two of my favorite people. Orange is so lucky to have both of them in residence.

Since our names were invoked in this article, I'd like to make some comments. John Murray and I opened our Blue Ridge Studio School first at the Silk Mill. And a year later we moved to Main Street. We are very proud of our new school and our students. If you have an open mind come see for yourself.

Thanks for a great profile of a wonderful guy. Ed Harvey's selfless dedication to the Orange community is undeniable but, as the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished. It was painful to watch the gratuitous and occasionally mean-spirited opposition Ed encountered in recent years, but he weathered it with characteristic determination, wisdom, and grace. The Arts Center remains a small town gem and Ed Harvey is a small town hero.
